I got a pair of Dickies pants that are overlly starched...how do you get rid of the starch in them? - dickies pant

These pants are practically made of cardboard and is exacerbated when I purchased it. They are a bit soft after 10 washes ... No one knows how to get rid of starch or any idea of what they soften just like an old pair of Dickies, without permanent wrinkles. Thank you.
