OMG! I need power brick help!? - dongle compatible hp logitech

I have a problem with my Compaq Presario 2100 Notebook Adapter thingimajig Performance:

HELP!
When I plugged my laptop, it worked. Then the power started ringing and the team has lost all power !!!!!

Custom HP sell me a new brick, as there are no compatibility issues of bricks in place. The same goes for 2500, the witch also has problems with the power supply to this message: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7587_102-0.html?threadID=113081, but I'm not sure what my problem.

What should I do??
