1 tablespoon cheese / 2 cup Swiss cheese

Cut the pumpkin in half lengthwise, discard seeds. Half of the squash cut-side in a baking dish microwave. Cover and cook 8 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork, turning once. Repeat with the second half of the squash. When cool enough to handle, tear squash, separating strands with a fork and set aside.
In a pan, cook bacon crisp over medium heat. Remove using a slotted spoon to remove the paper towels, drain fat. Butter, brown sugar, salt and pepper, lard. Add the pumpkin and bacon, and by heat. Remove from heat, add cheese until smooth. Serve immediately.
